USHA_Milwa ..He flew many flights in his P-38 in fa 1.5 and part of 2.5.......I believe he was from Australia also but not sure.....Great Guy.
TWC_BWizard, or Wiz or Ben to his legion of friends, died this morning.
Wiz was also a former member of the FA volunteer group.
Wiz, was a founding member of TWC. He often had health problems but you would never know. Always ready with a booming "Howdy" on squad comm's he was an integral part of TWC back when TWC was a big part of FA. I know many of you knew Ben. Ben was selfless and always had the best interests of others first and foremost.
He loved being a volunteer here as it meant he could help.
Ben, I am going to miss you more than you know.

Oldhippie151 was my brother, Dale Harris. I appreciate your memorial tribute to him and the kind cards of condolence some of you have sent to me.
Dale was a kind, loving, and funny brother. I miss him very much. He is with our mother now, who we loved very much. God Bless Dale and keep him in your loving arms.

Our friend and squad M8, Bruce Taylor, 56_Eagle passed away at 10:00pm Tuesday Night. He died peacefully.
Eagle liked FA so much he had a licence plate with 56_Eagle on it. Eagle was always fun to fly with and one of the best fighter pilots in the game.
His cancer was one bogey he could not beat.
Please keep his family in your prayers.
56th Fighter Group will miss our comrade!

It is with terrible sadness that we have to inform the community that we have lost a great man, an outstanding pilot, and a Fighter Ace Icon: SilverEagle@HQ aka __VMF214__Pappy^CO.
He never wanted to burden others with his personal problems, but for years, while fulfilling his duties as a @FA and currently @HQ, he battled serious health issues. Some may have noticed his absences from time to time, but he always managed to return to the game and the players he loved.
Steve joined Fighter Ace back on the Zone and dedicated all his free time to helping others achieve their dreams of flying, as a Mentor and Instructor, (including a long stint as the Lead), Event Host, Sysop, and finally as a Community Manager for Ketsujin Studios.
His lifelong passion was finding and helping the new players. There has been no one in FA's history more dedicated to assisting new players than Steve, and he is the reason we have such a fine cadre of Instructors today. He planted the seeds and nurtured the garden with loving care, and watched it grow into the outstanding training program we now enjoy.
Steve served as the current CO of the VMF214 Squad and was dedicated to ensuring their continued success within FA. He spent tireless hours recruiting and training new members, and flew with a passion. For many players, the last thing they saw before going down in flames was Pappy on their 6, and he was always a gentleman, complimenting others on their 'good fight' and encouraging them for the next engagement.
I first met Steve when he removed me from an arena on the Zone, when he thought I was 'BSK'g'. He was passionate about protecting new players. Once he found out I was actually killing BSK’rs, (with Moira’s permission), we had a good laugh and became great friends.
Steve was never one to hold back and we had some intense and interesting 'conversations' about things FA related over the years. I was fortunate enough to be able to meet him in person last year, and I am glad I had the time to do that. We tried for years to talk Steve into coming to one of the conventions, but he was never able, and to have spent an afternoon with him was an experience I will never forget.
Steve was one of FA's greatest supporters and I know I speak for all the staff, volunteers, and the Fighter Ace community when I say we are all better people for having the privilege of knowing him.
He leaves a void that can't be filled and I will miss him very very much.
Go with God my friend
