From The Desk Of The Commanding Officer:

      Aces High (The Gamblers)  was Sonceived around 10/14/01 back in 2.5, after Flying with the 56th for about 1.5 years and a short stint with BRS I wanted to strike out on my own. I had my own Ideas on how I would like to see a Squad Operate, I took a good look at Game Play and the way some Squads Recruited in 2.5 (only the best may apply, or you had to be Invited in) I didn't think this was right, also I didn't like Pilots being Required to attend Squad Practice or Squad Nights, Etc. Etc. I don't know about other Squads but Aces High Pilots Fly by the seat of their pants and Fly When They Can..

      Since no Veteran Pilots were going to leave the Squad they were Flying with, and Join a Upstart Unknown Squad, I started Recruiting Cdt's and New Pilots. (BEST MOVE I EVER MADE) It was quite an Uphill Battle, Pilots Joining only to never  be seen again, then after about a Month one Pilot (AH_Chickenhawk) joined and things started to pick up, we recruited several more Pilots including (AH_Tex who is now my XO) and about five others NOTE! (We Never Look At A Pilots Record Before Letting Him Join) we accept ALL  who want to Join  and Fly with us as long as they are Over 21. Our Biggest Concern is that Members have Fun and Enjoy the Game, I am CO but the Pilots Run the Squad, Hell if it were not for them I wouldn't have a Squad. I only step in when there is a Conflict and do what I think is best for the Entire Group, I have lost Good Pilots because we could not see eye to eye on my decisions. Some things that were tolerated in a small Group may not be applicable as a Squad Grows. There has to be give and take. Some have left only to Return and some have left never to be seen or heard from again

       We have had Pilots Leave Other Squads Because they said their Ex-CO was a Dick or they got Tired of Flying with a bunch of Kids who wanted to Screw Off Instead of Fly, I Hope that Never Happens Here..

     

      On a Final NOTE: I owe alot to Pilots like 56_Vodka_61 Who took time with me and Taught me to Fly and my first CO 56_Doglips_61 one Hell of a CO without his leadership who knows where I would be. HAIL to the 56th hope to see them back in the game soon in Force..

        

                            

                             OPERATIONS & REGULATIONS

           (1)  We do not have Organized Squad Practice but do offer one on one Training if a Pilot requests it..

           (2)  Our Squad Night is Sat. starting around 8:00 PM Eastern. NOTE: You are Not Required to be there..

            (3) We Require all AH_PILOTS to fly for the Same Team in Historical Rooms. If you don't like what we are doing at the time please go to ANOYHER ROOM..

            (4) In Islands or TC You May Go In With Hider Nic's On Opposing Teams & Fight.. NOTE: (This Means Everyone In A Hider Both Teams)

           ** In Historical We All Fly For The Same Team Period **

            (5) We try and watch our Language on RW but don't expect it to be Sunday School..

            (6) Organized & AH should never be used together in the same sentence. If we can't Impress them with our Flying Skills we will Baffle them with our BS..

            (7) Pilots will be PURGED form the Squad Roster if we lose contact with them for more than 90 Days..
